附生植物 Epiphytes
附生植物，是指透過生長在其他活體植物上面而支撑的植物，並不會掠奪它所附著植物的營養與水分。它自身可以進行光合作用，並通過攀附於高大樹木之上而使自己更有效地吸收陽光。巢蕨就是常見的附生植物。
Epiphytes are plants that grow on other plants for support. They do not absorb nutrients from the host plants because they can carry out photosynthesis to produce food for themselves. They can absorb more sunlight by climbing on other plants to increase their competitiveness. Nest fern (Neottopteris nidus) is an epiphyte commonly found in Hong Kong.
