瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約 CITES
瀕危野生動植物種國際貿易公約在1975年時正式執行。公約目的主要是透過對野生動植物出口與進口限制，確保野生動物與植物的國際交易行為不會危害到物種本身的延續。由於這份公約是在美國的華盛頓市簽署的，所以又被簡單稱呼為華盛頓公約。
Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) entered in force in 1975. The aim of CITES is to ensure that international trade of wild animals and plants does not lead to a decline of the survival of wild species. As CITES was signed in Washington, CITES also known as the Washington Convention.
