Tai O and Sha Lo Wan are connected through the Tung O Ancient Trail, which was built along the northwestern shore of Lantau Island. The session from Tai O to Sha Long Wan has different habitat types, including grass slopes, shrublands, secondoary forests, wetlands, mangrove, etc. You can take a ferry at Sha Lo Wan to Tung Chung, Tuen Mun or Tai O or continue the walk to Tung Chung.
